Morning all. It's OCR week and we have our regular piece on what the economists are thinking will happen. It's not their thoughts on this week which are so exciting, rather their views on what will happen later this year.
We suspect this interest rate prediction game will be fascinating to watch this year, not only because of the economic factors but also because we have a newly minted Reserve Bank governor. As one economist noted Wheeler's "rhetoric (will be) appropriately vague and open-ended."
