A quiet day with rates. The main news being the REINZ house sales figures which paint a rosy picture. The word we are getting back from the coal face is that the market is quite patchy and much of the activity has come about from new listings which have come to the market. One mortgage broker said yesterday that he is finding it changable from week to week. One is a ripper the next dull.
