Yesterday was another quiet day in the home loan market with no rate changes to report. One of the interesting moves lost in all the noise around ASB's floating rate cut last week was that it has changed the pricing of home loans from its subsidiary BankDirect. Traditionally BankDirect's rates have been 10-15 basis points lower than ASB's ones. Now they are the same.
