Mortgage Rates

Public Trust has cut its floating rate by 25 basis points to 6.20%, a welcome move that has not been seen by a lender for sometime.  Public Trust also made increases to all but its five-year fixed rates.  Its six-month, two and four-year rate rose by 20 basis points and its one-year rate went up by 30 points and its three-year rate up by 15 points.

Credit Union North also upped its rates and these changes comprised a 5 basis point lift to its one-year rate and its two and three-year rates went up by 20 and 10 points respectively.
