Mortgage Rates

ANZ National and ASB finished off last week with cuts to home loan interest rates.  ANZ National reduced its 18 month and two year rates by between five and 10 basis points and ASB reduced its two-year rate by 10 points. Westpac is leading the charge with the lowest two-year rate for a major bank by 1 basis point at 6.59%.

Bank Direct, NZ Home Loans and Sovereign all made the same two-year rate cuts.
