It's HSBC, BNZ and Co-op bank's turn

Mortgage Rates

Cuts to home loan rates are from HSBC and The Co-operative Bank. The key feature of the changes is that HSBC has taken its two-year rate to 5.50% which is slightly better than the other banks and just one basis point off the market leader. We have sorted two-year rates from lowest to highest here.

Also this morning BNZ have made cuts across its fixed rate terms to its Standard and Global Plus range, and brought the Classic two-year rate down to match its competitors.
