Interest rate expectations fell steadily over the quarter, according to the latest ASB Housing confidence survey.
The fall was widespread across all the regions surveyed, and most regions now exhibit similar expectations. The one outlier is Christchurch, where expectations of higher rates are slightly more prevailing than in the rest of the country.
