The best two year rates

Tuesday, June 23rd 2009, 2:37PM

Some of the best two year fixed rates this year have come from the smaller banks and non-bank lenders. This graph shows that Kiwibank, which is often a leader in this market, has had the most unattractive two year rates since January. Its offers have been above the median two year rate for the big banks. Meanwhile TSB, which offered a two year rate at 5.99% last week and PSIS have offered some of the sharper rates.
